Paper types
Resin-Based Paper
Resin-based paper is a plastic-based type of photographic paper. It is the most common paper type used for printing color images due to its ability to achieve higher gloss levels compared to fiber-based papers. An example of resin-based paper is Fujiflex, which is known for its supergloss finish.
R-Type Paper
R-type paper operates differently from traditional photographic papers. In this process, a transparency (positive image) is projected onto reversal paper, which then develops into a positive image. This method is used to create high-quality positive prints from transparencies.
